Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou & Ouarzazate

It is the south-eastern crossing of the high Atlas, the green road that crosses the villages of Ait Ourir and Tadart, will quickly become tortuous and capricious as it approaches the Tichka pass (2260m) which pierces the high atlas through the beginning of its central part, communicating Marrakech and the great depression of the southern atlas with the Saharan breakthroughs, through the crossroads of Ouarzazate. The contrast is obvious between the relatively steep steep slopes of the northern slopes and the south face, which gently unfolds into arid plateaus.

Departure at 7:00 am from your hotel. Before arriving in Ouarzazate, at the village Tabourahte, turn left to discover the Pearl Rare of Morocco: ancient and exceptional Ksar the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After the visit of the Kasbah, we take again the direction of Ouarzazate (1160 m) city known for its studios of cinema frequented by Hollywood cinema, with its houses with ochre plaster, the city, itself created in 1928, was a French garrison. Its very beautiful kasbah, the kasbah of Taourirte is one of the most beautiful kasbah of Morocco, it was among so many others the residence of the Pasha Thami Laglaoui, where we will make a small stop before resuming the road to Marrakech.
